This semi-automatic stack cutter uses an electric-powered Solingen steel blade to quickly cut through paper. In fact, it is so powerful it can cut a 1 ½" stack of paper in a single pass! The clamping mechanism and the backstop are manually adjusted. While the backstop is manually operated, it is easy to set up. Simply turn the hand crank, on the front of the machine, to bring the backstop forwards and backwards. As it moves, a digital display will let you know in inches or centimeters where it is located. This makes precision extremely easy. An LED optical cutting line also lets you know exactly where the cut will be made.
